If you want to reserve lodging for your next stay in Lake Placid please consider checking in at one of our 3 Lodges next to our HPC store. 

We have 3 Lodges and can host up to 32 people,   2  lodges sleep up to 10 people (in 3 bedrooms) and one can hold up to 12 people ( in 4 bedrooms), all in individual beds (comfortable bunks, many with a double bed on the bottom bunk and single bed on top) , full kitchens, laundry, BBQ, etc.  We are non-smoking, non partying and pets are discouraged, but can sty with permission and a small pet fee. 

Great views of the High Peaks Mountains can be seen from each lodge and from the big decks outside of each unit.  We have a fun near downtown location, and are close to the Mirror Lake beach, the Olympic Arena and Conference Center, the skating oval and many great shops and restaurants. so you can feel like a local. You can walk or bike anywhere in town or take the free local shuttle around town or shuttle to Whiteface in the winter. 

Average room rates are $300-400/ night (plus a cleaning fee) on weekends and may be less in midweek or off season. Weekly is $1200-$2400. Holidays and big events may be more. The cleaning fee can be lowered if you bring your own linens or sleeping bags and we request big groups to bring towels. 

We are experts in helping people enjoy LP and all it has to offer and getting people into the outdoors and Adirondacks. It is perfect for groups and families and a great place to get ready, and to relax from outdoor adventure. There is a Wax room and Bike Storage in garage for skiers and bikers.

High Peaks Mountain Guides service is on property, so we can outfit you and provide Adirondack Adventure travel information and Guided trips.

High Peaks Cyclery offers discounts on outdoor gear rentals (bikes, canoes, xc skis, etc.). Guests of the houses are welcome to use the climbing gym and fitness/yoga studio during your stay( if not booked) and classes or instruction can be arranged.

Basecamp Lodge

The newest vacation rental of the High Peaks Cyclery and Guide Service property, this home boasts a modern living space and sleeps up to 10guests with 2 baths and 5 bunks in 3 bedrooms. Bedroom #1: one Twin-over-Full Bunk Bed | Bedroom #2 and 3 - a Twin-over-Twin Bunk Bed, and Twin-over-Full Bunk Bed.  All 3 bedrooms are located directly off the large living room and kitchen area. This home also includes an expansive private deck with a gas grill to host afternoon barbecues on vacation, while the stunning High Peaks vistas provide the perfect backdrop for quality time outside

Guide House Lodge

Our Guide House is a single story rental located on the second floor upstairs from our Guide Service with three bedrooms sleeping up to ten people. Two bedrooms hava two comfy bunk beds with double futons as the bottom bunks and a single on top. The front bedroom has one bunk. The Guide House hosts a full kitchen, dinette, a large bathroom, and living room, all newly renovated with nice leather and wood furniture. Next door above our shop there is a large fitness and yoga studio with an additional full bathroom if needed for larger groups. The house also shares a large deck and BBQ grill with the High Peaks House next door with great views of the High Peaks mountains! Amenities include free Wifi, TV and DVD player, as well as a microwave. There is an extra full bathroom next door in our yoga studio for use upon request.

High Peaks House

Our High Peaks House is the largest of our three houses; with two stories, four bedrooms, and six bunk beds the High Peaks house sleeps up to twelve. Three of the bedrooms have one bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom, while the fourth bedroom serves as the larger "bunk room" with three bunk beds. The house has 2 full baths, a large gear room, laundry facilities, and a large, comfortable kitchen, bar and living area. Outside the High Peaks House shares a large porch area and BBQ grill with our Guide House, with great views of the High Peaks mountains! Amenities include free Wifi, TV and DVD player, as well as a microwave. Book this house with the Guide House or Base Camp for larger groups!
