Everything about Scott's Plasma Team Issue exudes race-winning pedigree and unbridled speed. Its Scott HMX carbon frame uses their proprietary Integrated Molding Process for a bicycle that's incredibly responsive and so aerodynamic it's almost invisible to the wind. Plus, its low head tube, integrated fork and stem, huge rear-wheel cutout, and hidden rear brake mean more speed, while Plasma 5 aero bars put you in the perfect position to absolutely blitz your next time trial or triathlon. And, this slippery sled comes ready to fly with Scott's aero seat post, aero bottle, and integrated storage box.
During Scott's Integrated Molding Process (IMP), the top/head/down-tube section is produced in a single step, which ensures the lightest weight by removing all unnecessary material. The front end is then joined to the rear triangle creating a frame that's incredibly light and responsive.
Scott's HMX composite fiber is 20% stiffer than Scott's HMF, and it's used on all areas that need additional rigidity. This new material also saves weight and improves the riding characteristics.
