Everything about Scott's Plasma 10 exudes race-winning pedigree and unbridled speed. Its Scott HMX carbon frame uses their proprietary Integrated Molding Process for a bicycle that's incredibly responsive and so aerodynamic it's almost invisible to the wind. Plus, its low head tube, integrated fork and stem, huge rear-wheel cutout, and hidden rear brake mean more speed.
During Scott's Integrated Molding Process (IMP), the top/head/down-tube section is produced in a single step, which ensures the lightest weight by removing all unnecessary material. The front end is then joined to the rear triangle creating a frame that's incredibly light and responsive.
Scott's HMX composite fiber is 20% stiffer than Scott's HMF, and it's used on all areas that need additional rigidity. This new material also saves weight and improves the riding characteristics.
