Details

Warbird is Salsa's gravel race bike, designed to provide smooth performance on the roughest surfaces. It was built off years of experience racing in some of the nation’s premier gravel events like the Almanzo 100, Dirty Kanza 200, and 340-mile Trans Iowa. Carbon frame and fork deliver Salsa’s Class 5 Vibration Reduction System to smooth out gravel’s often relentless chatter. The 700c Ultegra Di2 build takes the speed and efficiency of 700 x 40c Maxxis Rambler tires on DT Swiss CR 1600 wheels, and mates them to the incredible Shimano Ultegra Di2 2x10-speed drivetrain that combines the perfect cadence achievable by a 2x11 gearbox with the unflinching, perfect shifting you only get from Di2. Keep your cool and a double handful of control on the descents with the Warbird’s Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes that offer the kind of power normally reserved for bikes with fatter rubber and flatter bars. With front and rear thru-axles and rock-solid WTB and carbon Salsa cockpit components, the Warbird Ultegra Di2 is ready for as many dusty miles on end as you care to grind out.

Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are some benefits of electronic shifting that you don't want to miss.

Electronic shifting delivers exceptional performance.

Shifting Performance

Electronic shifting systems use powerful servo motors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with surgical precision and without chain rub.

Electronic shifting is customizable.

Customization

Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.

Electronic shifting is light on the maintenance.

Dependability

Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you'll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
