The Black Crows Anima Freebird Skis stomp big lines and rail at speed almost as well as the exceptional regular Animas, but drop a bunch of weight with touring in mind. The Anima Freebird was a hit with everyone we knew who tested it last season, and if you can handle skinning with a 115 mm wide waist this ski will make it worth your while.

This stable ski is quick when edging, with a progressive tail and a tolerant degree of flex; a powerful performer at high speed without loss of manoeuvrability. A really sporty character. At the center of the new Cassiar offerings is the 87mm edition. It’s arguably the most versatile of the newly released Cassiar line. The Cassiar 87 is the perfect choice for everyday resort use where you are 50 percent off-piste and 50 percent on-piste. The C87 carries all the performance and refinement DNA of a C2 ski.
At the center of the new Uschi line is the 87mm edition. A perfect choice for everyday resort use where off-piste takes slightly more precedence than on-piste. Targeting your ski choice to the conditions you most frequently encounter is a fine luxury (i.e. building your dream quiver), and the Uschi 87 tips the scale to slightly favor off-piste over on. C2 Chassis.
Classic shape, custom top-sheet art. Limited-Edition offering for Dreamtime When it first debuted, the Wailer 112 was a groundbreaking shape in the ski world, dominating ski tests and making skiers better. This ski has indeed become a fan-favorite. With the RP moniker, telling of its Resort-Pow domination, it has the versatility for absolute control and g-force generation on hardpack, while cradling the rider into the world of powder planing performance in deeper snow. It consistently, and playfully, delivers powder versatility, with ease-of-use, in varying conditions. Up your game.
The DPS Wailer A100 RP Ski continues the legacy of DPS's premier deep snow ski that is known for its best-selling shape, deep rocker profile, and lightweight but responsive construction. The ski-able shape is created by the combination of taper in the tip and tail and a short 15m turn radius. The taper in the tip and tail allows you to break the edges free for extremely quick pivoting control, while the 15m turn radius encourages tight slalom turns when you really lay into the edge. This control is accentuated by the deep rocker in the tip and tail that further helps you break the edge free when needed, and the camber underfoot that allows you to hold a firm edge when the snow gets less soft.
The all-mountain classic is reborn with a fresh C2 Chassis. We have worked hard in the lab and on-mountain to fine-tune optimum geometric ratios for sidecut and flex pattern, and the newly minted 106 reflects the most current blend of smoothness, balance, and power; in an all-mountain, everyday shape designed for mixed snow conditions.
Hot off the presses: introducing the new Wailer Grom (148cm and 158cm), $499 USD. This new junior ski arrives just in time for a full season of gravity operations. Following countless requests over the years from both parents and young shredders alike, we are proud to introduce an all-mountain/mixed snow offering for those making their way up through the ranks. When you are still light and shorter with less overall mass to float, 87mm underfoot provides ample lift in all but the deepest snow. The relationship of ski surface area to body size should feel equivalent to a 106mm underfoot ski driven by a full grown adult. The tapered tips and tails and subtle rocker cues blend the Grom’s ability to carve on the groomers while providing predictable, high-performance security and balance in crud and mixed snow. For everyday riding in places that offer good off-piste, the Wailer Grom will open up new sensations and opportunities toward building technical, high performance skiing in the big mountains for the younger set.
If you live in a consistently snowy region that usually delivers in centimeters or inches, not feet and meters, then the Wailers 106mm waist is an ideal central piece of your quiver. The Wailer 106 Tour1 is ultralight and polite in the skin track. Keep it broad, with one ski in your bag for a utility knife approach that delivers broad pleasure and predictable precision due to its Chassis-driven rocker and sidecut design.
The Zelda 106 Tour1 offers a seriously fun touring package. It is arguably the safe centerpiece for touring in the widest range of conditions. Mount tech bindings on the Zelda and use it from scrappy early November action to that last magical June corn day and everything in-between. Many will argue that the Zeldas waist-width and turn radius combination delivers the most terrain/snow range of any ski design in existence.
The Nina 99 has forged its place as an amazing and true touring pow shape for many women. 100mm underfoot combined with healthy tip and tail rocker provides ample planing performance. This unique shaping combination is now mated with a Tour1 build to create a special, versatile and surfy experience in an incredibly efficient uphill package.
In contrast to the Hoji Pro Tour, the Hoji Free is also compatible with touring frame bindings. With its increased rigidity, thanks to a unique Grilamid material with fibreglass, and its progressive flex of 130, the Hoji Free possesses all of the characteristics to deliver the best power transfer and top downhill performance. With a last width of 102 mm, three micro-adjustable buckles and the Ultra Lock Strap, the foot sits ideally positioned. In downhill mode, the Hoji Free locks out at a forward lean of 17 degrees thanks to a spoiler at the cuff and thus offers a comfortable, yet still athletic and controlled ski position – be it to press, carve or slash. On the ascent, free tourers also get extra benefits: The V-shaped tongue and a cuff rotation of 55 degrees means maximum freedom of movement, flexibility and comfort. This enables a natural, energy-saving walking motion even on very steep terrain. With its light weight of just 1,550 grams, a few extra metres of extra vertical vert won’t be an issue for the Hoji Free since you’ll still have enough strength left to enjoy a well-earned descent. One special feature of the Hoji Free is the new thermo-mouldable Hoji Free Liner by footbed, boot-fitting and foot specialty brand Sidas. This will be exclusively available in the coming season in the DYNAFIT Hoji Free. This liner can be custom-moulded to fit your foot and offers the best-possible climbing performance as well as on the descent. It is impressive with its lightness and comfort, and it positions and firmly cradles the foot with precision and security. These characteristics make the liner the first choice for the Hoji Free and underscores the unique selling point on the market of this free touring boot. To ensure ski tourers can approach the perfect line over rocks and icy flanks, the Hoji Free comes equipped with the POMOCA Free Sole. This sole has impressive grip and optimal hold when walking out of the binding and at the same time is especially sturdy and long-lasting. Thanks to the toe lug the ski touring boot is compatible with fully automatic crampons. Last but not least, the Hoji Free is also equipped with the proven Quick Step-In insert for easier entry into the frameless tech binding even on rougher terrain. The Hoji Free, just like other models in the Hoji family, is made completely in Italy. Ski hard & walk easy – one move to switch.
At 790 grams, the DYNAFIT PDG Ski was developed for ski runners and backcountry ski competitors. This model is a classic training ski that is designed for durability and stability despite minimal weight. The racing ski's cap construction guarantees minimal weight and, at the same time, the ski is nimble and forgiving on the descent. Its 3D shovel construction ensures you get optimum damping properties which in turn give you a nimble ski that contributes to forgiving ski performance. The Paulownia wood core -- in the racing segment only the best 10 percent of the wood is used -- provides the optimum ratio of weight to stability. An additional fiberglass layer and carbon speed stringers give this training and competition ski extra stability. Openings in front of and behind the binding, work to eliminate additional density.
